Goodyer, likely Charles Goodyer service number 3366 wounded at Ladysmith on 18th February 1900, dating from Punjab in 1896 to the Great War 1918, comprising Victorian 1895 India medal with campaign bars for Tirah 1897-1898 and Punjab Frontier 1897-98, South Africa with bars for Laing's Nek, Transvaal, Relief of Ladysmith, Orange Free State, and Tugela Heights, and Edward VII South Africa medal with bars for 1901 and 1902, all awarded when he was a private in the Queen's Royal West Surrey Regiment, and WWI medals comprising 1914-15 Star, awarded to Corporal C. Goodyer service number 3241 and Great War and Victory medals, both to him as Acting Sergeant, in the Middlesex Regiment, together with a silver cased, open faced pocket watch adapted to the back to act as a compass in the Southern Hemisphere, The Lancashire Watch Co Ltd (Thomas Peter Hewitt), Chester 1901, with fob and albert, a Princess Mary Christmas box, a Sunday School medal with a group of silver coins George III and later, pierced and kept on a ring, and a medallion commemorating the Coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth in 1937, provenance, the vendor is family of Charles Goodyer where the medals have been kept until now.

We are delighted to be offering for auction, the collection of Felix Marsh Rimmington, who was the founder of Rimmingtons Pharmacy of Bridge Street, Bradford. Mr Rimmington was an interesting character, by day he was the community Chemist, by night he was F.M. Rimmington, Crime Investigator, involved in some of the most ghastly and gruesome cases Bradford had ever seen.
